[QTI] randomisation in adaptive questions

Hi Dick:

At what stage do you want to re-randomize the variables?
The first time rendered would randomise if there is a <random>
element, so I suppose you mean when the question is re-rendered after
the first or subsequent attempts.

I think this is not straightforward. As a first thought, have a look
at adaptiveTemplate.xml. This uses randomization, and the effect of
the randomisation is passed on to subsequent attempts.

If the xml seems useful, it might be helpful to look at my example on
a demo site. This may help because the Item variables are reported at
the end of each attempt, and help to sort out the Byzantine logic.
Unfortunately at the moment none of the demo sites seem to be running.
I cannot do much about this until Monday pm (and perhaps not even then)

Regards

Graham
