[QTI] Special character

I think the team at Southampton decided on a complete rewrite when they
moved onto implementing QTI 2.1, and are much happier with the quality
of the newer code. They certainly recommend using QTIEngine instead of
R2Q2.

Thanks, with the new player it works fine indeed. I hope we can resolve
the bug in R2Q2 because we are pretty far in the development of our
project. You wouldn't happen to know why R2Q2 got deprecated do you?

Hi,
UTF-8 is OK - basically QTI 2.* copies XHTML 1.0. I think that is a bug
in R2Q2... QTIEngine (http://qtiengine.qtitools.org), which is the
replacement for R2Q2, runs your item correctly, provided you add a title
first.

Hi all,
Can someone tell me how to encode special characters in QTI 2.0? I
assume UTF-8 but when I upload the item attached to this mail in R2Q2
the special characters don't show up.
Thanks,
Mark
