Hi Chandana,
Working on the JISC Aqurate project at Kingston University, I have
managed to bind the IMS QTI v2.1 schema to Java class using JAXB.
I have posted a demo application on the Aqurate web site that
demonstrates this work. It can be found at: http://aqurate.king.ac.uk/.
The source code is included.
A brief description is given of how to produce a "choice interaction"
question using the JAXB libraries. A description is also provided of the
method used to bind the QTI schema. The custom bindings file that is
needed to deal with conflicts is also provided.
It should be noted that the latest J2SE includes the JAXB libraries.
Best regards,
James

Hi,
Anybody successful in generating java binding classes with a JAXB RI for
the public draft of V 2.1? If so, please let me know which reference
implementation you have used.
I tried Sun Java Web Services Developer pack and Castor. With Sun's RI,
I am getting a lot of 'xyz' already defined in the schema. In Castor, I
am having a problem with 'null' type which Castor team acknowledged as a
bug.
Also, any updates of the implementation by Graham at
http://qtitools.caret.cam.ac.uk/ <http://qtitools.caret.cam.ac.uk/> ?
I am interested in the source code rather than the examples.
Thanks in advance,
Chandana
