Quick chaser on my post from yesterday...

I said:

Note that if there are products out there that support only 2.0 items then
the conversion of questions that use numAttempts requires only the
insertion of an outcome declaration, something that could easily be
achieved with a trivial XSLT.  But if you do this you should change the
namespace to 2.0 in the item's root element of course.

I should have added:

In addition, 2.0 systems will of course require a suitable rule to be added
to response processing to increment numAttempts - again, something
trivially added with XSLT.  Apologies for any confusion.
