[QTI] drawing shapes?

hi!
 
Is it possible to draw simple shapes like rectangles or cricles. It is neccessary to draw them independently of an interaction. 
For example as style elements on the background to seperate interaction elements and feedback elements visually. For me it is not possible to take pictures because those style elements are changing. 
Is there no extension tag for xhtml elements?
